League of Silent Flight Standings
About LSF
The League of Silent Flight (LSF) is a (almost) no cost five-level soaring skills advancement program similar to the badge system of full-scale soaring. LSF members, at their own pace, acquire soaring skills through self-imposed discipline, perseverance and a search for understanding. Challenging yourself to master that next task or that next level can really keep the juices flowing. Accomplishing that first task toward level I is as rewarding as your future successes at the higher levels. The LSF Soaring Accomplishments Program consists of groups of tasks of progressively increasing difficulty which, when accomplished, demonstrate the advancing skills of the model sailplane pilot. A pilot begins at Level I (beginner) and can advance through Level V (Advanced). There are only about 110 Level V pilots in the world.
Will you become one of them? SFVSF encourages soaring pilots to participate in the LSF experience through our LSF Club Coordinator, by conducting club contests in support of LSF advancement and through the camaraderie of other members. For those new to LSF, The Club Coordinator can sign you up as a New Aspirant, collect the $2.00 correspondence fee and issue your Level I voucher on the spot. You will then be an official LSF Aspirant. Recruit a witness and you can begin your level I tasks with your next flight! You'll be well on your way to a rewarding LSF experience that very day.

The table below lists SFVSF members who are participating in the League of Silent Flight (LSF) Soaring Accomplishments Program, along with their level of achievement and the tasks accomplished within each level.
SFVSF club members are encouraged to add their name and accomplishments to this register. Please contact our LSF Club Coordinator.
